When Morrie Schwartz offers a profound insight of Auden and Stephen Levine in Mitch Albom's poignant memoir "Tuesday's with Morrie" he has forced me to mull over these particular quote from every angle.

And I found it so profound and absolutely 100% true. Morrie, a retired sociology professor suffering from a terminal illness, shares his Wisdom during the weekly conversations with his former student Mitch.

In a cold world where everything needs reason and logic and the concept of love sometimes seem irrational and elusive. Morrie emphasizes that love is the fundamental truth or force that gives meaning to our lives. He argues that love is infact the only rational act where including the word rational offers us to think with good intentions that is the root to connect to ourselves and others.

Love according to Morrie is a genuine human connection that truly enriches each other's lives. Against all the odds, he radiates compassion and grace leaving an indelible mark on folks of Words to Wisdom Book and Lifestyle Club.

When we were discussing this beautiful memoir in our zoom session we asked one of our active member Piyush Ramchandrani to call his teacher he hasn't been able to talk to in a while.

It was appreciable from Piyush's side that without giving a thought he gave a random call infront of so many members in the group. He felt so good after talking to his teacher and she also with her warm gestures on phone comfort him and talked to him very politely.

It was just a step that can be done by many of us but we don't think it in a way bit important. But, honestly such calls increases oxytocin and establish a system of paying gratitude. It was so nice of Piyush going out of the comfort zone and put the phone on speaker without thinking much.

Morrie's steadfast dedication to love and human connection illuminates a path of profound significance not only for Mitch but also for our book club readers. Throughout this book often times Morrie has mentioned the enduring impact of prioritising love in every aspect of our lives.

I will definitely be coming with another insight soon from this book so that you can also cultivate compassion and interconnectedness.
